Ever wondered where Jelly Beans come from? Look no further.

It Starts with Us.  Wow. This was Nate’s (@ItStartsWithUs) first speaking gig, done in Pecha Kucha / Ignite style, which means he had no control of the slides.  Blog link here» What a cool concept. Can you give 15 minutes a week to help change the world?

Ever known someone that could use a little extra love?  The love bomb concept is pretty amazing.

NO!
I’m not a homophobe.  I’m a Bad-Fashion-o-Phobe though. I thought Pantyhose were dying a slow fashion death. Why?  Why, Why, Why would they bring this to market for men? This is NOT what they meant by metrosexual.
Thanks @adamsconsulting for the mention on @Bitrebels, though! :)

What are the coolest “collaborative” projects you’ve seen on twitter?

CollaborationI’m working on a blog post for an up and coming guest blog site. The post is based loosely at this point on the #PowerOfTwitter theme. One of the topics will be @zefrank’s Chillout Song. http://www.zefrank.com/chillout/ - where he asked his fans/friends/followers to sing a chorus, mixed it all together and created an audio hug. Listen if you’re stressed out. It works!

Other topics will include people who met through twitter, and worked to raise money for important charities, collaborative poetry, stories, photography, blogging, etc.

Are there any very cool things I should include? What’s your story?

I’ll be crediting everyone who gave me story ideas along with links to the projects, etc.

What kind of “group” projects have you seen or participated in through twitter?

If your comments are too long for Tumblr, mail them to me youarekiddinright [at] gmail.com and I’ll post them here.

For some reason, Tumblr doesn’t like @SuuperG and her comment is sitting in stasis somewhere waiting to get posted, so I asked her to send it to me. Here were her thoughts:

Hi Kid :) There are so many wondrous and wonderful connections and collaborations I’ve made in a relatively short time on Twitter…creating a campaign on crowdrise.com is definitely attributed to connections made through Twitter, and my biggest and most exciting collaboration so far would have to be the Himalaya climb for Charity: water I will be doing next spring with 13 other wonderful Twitter people!

Cheers n Huugggs!

URK!  Yeah, that’s not my preferred nickname, that’s more like the sound of hacking up a hairball. Call me Kid, @SuuperG does. :)
